I specialise in preparing students for the Physics Aptitude Test (PAT), drawing on five years of experience teaching IB Physics and Mathematics. My focus lies in helping students develop confidence with estimation, multi-step mechanics, circuit logic, and data interpretation—core areas of the PAT. With a background in mathematical physics, I guide students through Oxford-style problem solving with clarity and structure.

I earned a first-class degree in Physics and Mathematics before completing my PhD in theoretical physics, having developed a deep interest in mechanics and electrical systems early in school. Over the past five years, I’ve supported students preparing for the PAT and helped many secure offers from Oxford by focusing on the exam’s most challenging concepts.

My students often struggle most with the abstract reasoning and unfamiliar setups in PAT questions. With a master’s in theoretical physics and a background in electrical engineering, I focus on sharpening their intuition in areas like graph interpretation, rotational dynamics, and circuit logic, especially for IB students aiming for Oxford.

I’m a tutor with experience teaching both online and in person. I completed my Master’s in Physics at the University of Birmingham, where I specialised in classical mechanics and statistical modelling. I’ve supported students through GCSE, A-level, and IB Physics and Maths, with a particular focus on those preparing for the PAT and Oxford Physics applications.
